Our Pure and Natural Coconut Soap uses coconuts that are from an Organic and Sustainable source, and production in the purest form made simply with Organic Coconut Oil, Lye and Water. No fragrance, no added enzymes, no phosphates, fillers, acids and no sodium lauryl. Coconut oil has natural soothing properties, and is ideal for the most sensitive skin as it does not contain anything to irritate the skin, nor cause allergies, nor aggravate existing allergies such as dermatitis & eczema, it is completely biodegradable, eco friendly, and dissolves so easily even in just warm water making it the ideal choice for cleansing, laundry & hand washing.

Our recipe for washing powder is 1kg borax, 1kg washing soda, 500g coconut soap 125g sodium bicarbonate . We recommend an approach of less is more so you only require a small amount of this washing powder (approximately 1 tbsp) per load. As this recipe contains no commercial cleaning agents we also recommend regular cleaning of your washing machine to remove any residual powder (White Vinegar and our Organic Sodium Bicarbonate are a great option).
Coconut Soap is very effective, and yet low in suds as it does not contain sodium lauryl sulphate, which is the chemical added to commercial detergents to produce suds.
Please take care when using powdered coconut soap due to the fine dust the product can produce, we recommend using a dust mask or covering your nose and mouth to avoid breathing the product in.
